The credit rating agency assesses the company’s financial health and confirms stability in its credit profile.
M. Dias Branco maintains its Long-Term National Rating of ‘AAA (bra)’, reaffirmed by Fitch Ratings agency, with a stable outlook. This is the eighth consecutive year that the Company has maintained its excellent rating. Fitch’s rating reflects the Company’s solid financial position, consistent cash generation, and strong presence in the Brazilian market.
According to the agency, “The rating reflects the company’s strong business profile, operating with a large scale and diversified product portfolio in Brazil’s relatively defensive and competitive industry of processed and packaged food. Recognized brands and a consolidated distribution system provide competitive edges and support the leadership of their main products in their respective segments of the domestic industry. The company’s historical ability to generate positive Free Cash Flows (FCFs) while maintaining net cash protects its capital structure in scenarios of increased volatility in the price of wheat, its main raw material, and in exchange rates.”
“The reaffirmation of our credit rating reflects the Company’s financial strength and debt management, almost entirely long-term, even in the face of a challenging macroeconomic environment.” “We remain committed to efficient and transparent management aligned with sustainable growth strategies,” says Gustavo Theodozio, Vice President of Investments and Controlling at M. Dias Branco.
