The brand, which has been in the market for more than 70 years, remains in the minds of consumers in São Paulo’s capital since 2016, according to a survey by the Institute.
Adria, a brand of pasta, crackers and cookies and toasts, belonging to M. Dias Branco, is recognized by São Paulo’s people as a reference in spaghetti, according to Datafolha. Since 2016, the brand has stood out in the survey, which in previous years was more comprehensive and identified the best pasta.
The ranking is based on consumer research held across the city of São Paulo by Datafolha Institute. The aim is to identify the brands that stick in the public’s mind when asked about the best spaghetti.
Acquired in 2003 by M. Dias Branco, Adria, previously focused on the Southeast region, began to be distributed throughout the country in 2017. Adria’s pasta portfolio comprises pasta with eggs, semolina, lasagna, instant noodles and Grano Duro pasta with imported wheat, all produced with the quality guarantee of M. Dias Branco, the national leader in the industry.
Since June, the brand has been running its latest campaign, Neologios, focused on its entire pasta portfolio with the motto “Not just any pasta. Not just any compliment.” The recipes made with Adria are so delicious that common compliments cannot translate them. That’s why chef Claude Troisgros, reputed as one of the great names in Brazilian gastronomy, was invited to invent them in this action.
“Adria is a brand made for all. Our portfolio was developed to serve different types of consumers. Spaghetti is a traditional cut and goes well with different sauces. We believe that the reason it has stood out in this segment is due to the fact that it meets the demand for items that offer versatility of preparation, as well as meeting the attributes guaranteed by the brand: attention to every detail, carefully selected ingredients and a loose noodle with the perfect texture”, comments Luciana Ribeiro, marketing manager at Adria.
