The company used the opportunity, which took place on October 3, to launch its ESG Program for Suppliers
Aiming to engage its supply chain and share commitments, guidelines and actions with its partners, on October 3, M. Dias Branco, the national leader in pasta and crackers and cookies, held the Workshop for Suppliers 2023, under the theme Synergies and Sustainability. The event, which is in its second edition, is a way to engage partners in ESG Agenda and foster an environment of cooperation. On the opportunity, the company also launched the “InPacto” Program, designed within the ESG Agenda, for M. Dias Branco’s suppliers. Among the day’s activities was a presentation on how the program will be implemented and how it will be applied to partners.
“’InPacto’ Program’s purpose is to promote a more sustainable supply chain, through the engagement and development of its members. This is why it relies on pillars of assessment, training, mapping and joint initiatives by M. Dias Branco and its suppliers. We are proposing an alliance between all parts of the value chain that have a common goal of making a positive impact and building a thriving future for all”, says Denis Almeida, Executive Procurement Officer at M. Dias Branco.
The event lasted around nine hours and had the attendance of 140 people and more than 1,500 people online. Participants (present and online) had the opportunity to interact with M. Dias Branco leaders and external partners who were giving the lectures, offering relevant and up-to-date information on the context of the Company and the market. It was a moment of great interaction and networking among the participants.
