M. Dias Branco was granted the international certification Quality Assessment (QA), which is awarded by Instituto de Auditores Internos do Brasil (IIA Brazil – Brazilian Institute of Internal Auditors). This certification is proof that the internal processes of the leader of pasta and crackers and cookies in Brazil are in compliance with the most up-to-date internal audit procedures in the world.
To grant certification, IIA Brazil professionals perform a series of assessments relating to the companies’ internal processes. The purpose is to certify that companies are working in compliance with what was established by the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF).
The assessment of internal audit processes performed by IIA Brazil follows the same standards established by The IIA International, an association founded in 1941 that regulates internal audit procedures in more than 160 countries. With the certification, M. Dias Branco proves to the market that it has individual rules and a Code of Ethics that are in compliance with the requirements of the international body.
The ceremony of the International Certification of Quality in Internal Auditing (Quality Assessment: QA-IIA) awarded to M.Dias Branco was held in April with the presence of the CEO, Ivens Dias Branco Júnior, as well as Vice-Presidents, Executive Officers, members of the Audit Committee and employees of the Company’s Internal Audit area.
Upon receiving the certification, CEO Ivens Dias Branco Júnior congratulated the work performed by M. Dias Branco team, emphasizing the dedication and technical work: “Obtaining this certification represents a further progress in our corporate governance system, attesting that our Company complies with high international standards in internal auditing and acts in accordance with the standards defined in the International Professional Practices Framework”.
