M. Dias Branco joins the Brazil Pact for Business Integrity

Commitment is an initiative of the Office of the Federal Controller General

We are pleased to announce that M. Dias Branco, Brazil’s leading producer of pasta and crackers and cookies, is reaffirming its commitment to ethics and integrity by joining yet another initiative of broad national relevance on the subject: the Brazil Pact for Business Integrity, promoted by the Office of the Federal Controller General (CGU).

Launched in December 2023, the Pact aims to strengthen integrity in Brazilian business environment, foster the adoption of good corporate practices, and raise awareness among companies and private entities about the importance of an ethical and transparent culture.

For M. Dias Branco, being one of the signatories to the Pact means reaffirming its commitment to business integrity, acting proactively to prevent non-compliance and promote an ethical environment.  Subscription also contributes to strengthening solid and integrity-based relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, and partners, building trust and security for all stakeholders with whom we interact.

Daniel Gutiérrez, Vice President of Legal Affairs, Governance, Risks and Compliance at M. Dias Branco, highlighted that “joining Brazil Pact for Corporate Integrity represents another strategic and planned step in the Integrity Program and Governance System of M. Joining the Pact adds to other important initiatives in which the company is already involved, such as the UN Global Compact, the 100% Transparency Movement, the Business Pact for Integrity and Against Corruption of Ethos Institute, in addition to continuous recognition by the ANEFAC Transparency Trophy (for the 8th time) and the international ISO 37001 certification, relating to the Anti-Bribery Management System. “We remain steadfast on our journey toward an ethical, transparent, sustainable, and value-generating corporate culture – commitments that underpin our reputation and contribute to the development of a more ethical country for all,” concludes Daniel Gutiérrez.
