Recognition by B3 reinforces commitment to diversity at M. Dias Branco

Created in 2023, IDIVERSA B3 is the first index in Latin America to reward listed companies for their commitment to diversity.

For the third year running, M. Dias Branco has been recognized by IDIVERSA B3, Latin America’s first diversity index, created by B3. This year, the index continues to highlight companies that promote increased representation of underrepresented groups, such as women, indigenous people, and Black people (including brown people).

Launched in 2023, IDIVERSA B3 recognizes companies with best practices, assessed using the Diversity Score, a tool that measures companies’ alignment with the diversity of the Brazilian population.

As one of the largest food companies in Brazil, M. Dias Branco reaffirms its commitment to diversity and inclusion within its ESG Strategic Agenda, aligned with the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A signatory to the UN Global Compact since 2020, the Company aims to increase female representation in leadership positions to 40% by 2030.

According to Fabiana Prado, Culture and Organizational Climate Manager, “Currently, 28.8% of leadership positions in the Company are held by women, with 42.8% of the Board of Directors composed of women.” Fabiana also points out that since 2022, M. Dias Branco has been part of TEVA Women in Leadership index. “The company also created the Diversity Committee and launched the Human Rights, Diversity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Policy in 2021, in addition to initiatives such as Diversity Week, the PODiverso podcast, Conexão Mulher (Women’s Connection), and website accessibility in Brazilian Sign Language,” says the executive.

IDIVERSA B3, developed by the Stock Exchange, assesses diversity in publicly traded companies based on data from the Reference Form (FRE) and the B3 Diversity Score. The score considers information from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) and applies weights to categories such as the Board of Directors, executive management, leadership, and non-leadership, comparing the representation of these groups with that of the Brazilian population.

The result reflects the extent to which the Company is aligned with the diversity of society. Among the criteria assessed, the company’s five highest scores in 2025 stand out:

  • Respect regardless of age group.
