Global compact

and commitments

Since 2020, we have been signatories to the UN Global Compact and have aligned our ESG 2030 Strategic Agenda with the ten universal principles, making a concrete contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We participate in action platforms in Brazil—Climate, Human Rights, Combating Corruption, and Sustainable Agriculture—and extend this commitment to all SDGs through projects based on themes with the greatest potential for transformation. More than just meeting targets, we seek to connect global challenges to the reality of our business, inspiring change and leaving a positive legacy for society and for the future.

Priority SDGs

Based on SDG Compass, we have prioritized the SDGs. Below are our contributions to each one:

We work to reduce waste and increase access to healthy and nutritious food.  Through Nutrir o Amanhã (Nurturing Tomorrow) program, we donate food to more than 120 institutions; with Alimentando Sonhos (Feeding Dreams) program, we offer training in gastronomy, promoting income generation for families and, as a result, access to basic items such as food. With the Fit Food and Jasmine brands, we have strengthened our portfolio of healthy products offered to the population, while the Alimentação Transforma (Food Transforms) platform provides nutritional education and well-being, with the goal of impacting 10 million people by 2030.

We promote an inclusive work environment, supported by solid governance, public goals, and clear diversity indicators —such as the goal of achieving 40% women in leadership by 2030.  Among our initiatives, we highlight Mistura para Todos (Mix for All) Program, which strengthens literacy and the continuous development of employees, and Conexão Mulher (Women’s Connection), which boosts women’s careers through training and mentoring.

We adopt practices that reduce the vulnerability of water sources, investing in reducing consumption, reuse, and water treatment, always with special monitoring in areas of water stress.  Among our goals, we seek to reduce consumption to 0.40 m³ per ton produced and reuse 30% of water by 2030, promoting increasingly sustainable and conscious use of this resource that is so essential to life.

We seek to diversify our energy matrix with a focus on renewable sources and higher efficiency in industry, always in line with our ESG 2030 Strategic Agenda and the Decarbonize Program.  With robust internal policies and partnerships with wind farms and small hydropower plants, we aim to achieve 90% renewable energy by 2030, strengthening a cleaner matrix, driving sustainable modernization, and contributing to climate resilience.

We promote decent work and sustainable growth with a focus on safety, inclusion, and local development.  We have established clear goals to increase employee satisfaction with the organizational climate, strengthen the presence of women in leadership, and prevent workplace accidents. We also have goals to prioritize purchases from local suppliers, contributing to the strengthening of the domestic GDP.  Furthermore, we maintain an open dialogue with community leaders, ensuring that our actions meet the real needs of the communities where we operate.

We prioritize the responsible use of natural resources and invest in diversifying our energy matrix.  This vision is supplemented by circular economy practices, pursuing zero landfill goals, the use of sustainable packaging, and reverse logistics for post-consumer packaging.  In the social sphere, we combat the waste of products and inputs.  In our relationship with suppliers, we value local purchasing, strengthening the regional economy and contributing positively to the domestic GDP.

We promote sustainable practices that include reducing the consumption of natural resources, improving energy efficiency, and water consumption.  We have goals for using compostable, biodegradable, and recyclable packaging, as well as circular economy and landfill waste reduction initiatives.  In addition, we invest in combating food and input waste.

We have developed actions aimed at mitigating greenhouse gas emissions, concentrated in Decarbonize Program.  Among these, we highlight the diversification of our energy matrix with renewable sources, increased energy efficiency in industry, the neutralization of emissions from Jasmine granola line through carbon credits, and the use of sustainable packaging.

With ISO 37001 certification, we have strengthened our governance and compliance practices, showing our commitment to ethics, integrity, and transparency.  We are signatories to the Business Integrity Pact and the Global Compact’s 100% Transparency Movement.  We adopt good corporate governance practices, including internal audits, reliable whistleblowing channels, risk management, anti-corruption policies, and periodic reports that ensure accountability to our stakeholders.

We participate in initiatives that strengthen transparency, integrity, and social and environmental responsibility in companies.  We work in collaboration with wind farms and small hydropower plants in energy generation.  We strengthen our value chain through Aliança (Alliance) Program.  We develop waste recovery and circular economy initiatives in partnership with specialized partners.

Other commitments

In addition to our work under the Global Compact, we have also joined other initiatives that reinforce our sustainability journey and broaden our positive impact.
